YELLOW CORN GRIT

Yellow corn grit is a coarsely ground product made from the hard endosperm of cleaned yellow corn. During processing, the germ, bran, and soft endosperm are removed, leaving behind the dense portion of the kernel, which is then milled to the desired grit size. The result is a naturally gluten-free, nutrient-rich ingredient known for its hearty texture and subtle corn flavor.

Widely used across the food industry, yellow corn grit is a key component in cereals, snack

foods, tortillas, and brewing applications. It’s also valued in animal feed for its energy content and digestibility. Available in various granulations, yellow corn grit offers versatility and consistency for both food-grade and industrial uses.
